Classes For Divorcing Families
Divorcing Family Classes: Are designed to help divorcing or separating couples understand and work cooperatively through the changes in the family dynamics, effectively handle all stressors and focus on the needs and best interest of the children. Cleveland County, Oklahoma, requires the completion of this course for all divorcing couples with minor children.
Between Two Homes class: Teaches parents or adults how to remain or become co-parents (instead of opponents) and how to help the children grow and thrive while living between two homes. This class
also helps to:
Build a successful co-parenting relationship in order to stop fighting and start communicating
Recognize obstacles to the co-parenting relationship and provide effective solution focused methods
Talk to the children about the changes using language he or she can understand
Learn the special, developmental and emotional needs of the children at various stages, from newborn to teenager and throughout this process of changes.
Create a co-parenting plan
Learn what behaviors, and even what words, can help or hurt the child
Class Details:
Includes Divorcing Family and Between Two Homes classes
8 hour class times (Each class is two hours long)
Evening and Saturday classes available
